Freedom Balloon Fest – Memorial Weekend
If you are in North or East Raleigh from May 22-May 24th you’ll notice a lot of hot air balloons! You’ll have several opportunities for viewing, rides, and great family fun. The activities will be held in North Raleigh at 4203 Spring Forest Road 27616 (close to Triangle Town Center) and also in Zebulon at 1915 Old Bunn Road 27597. Both venues have FREE admission for all but you may have to pay for parking depending on location. Balloons are quite sensitive to weather so keep your eyes open for potential scheduling changes.
Friday, May 22 – Mass Ascension from 3pm to 9:30pm, at Zebulon location only.
Saturday, May 23 – Tethered rides & balloon glow from 3pm to 9:30pm, both locations
Sunday, May 24 – Tethered rides & balloon glow from 3pm to 9:30pm, both locations
