Today is the day, it is time to vote! As usual, North Carolina is considered a swing state so it is just as important as ever to go out and vote! A candidate needs at least 270 electoral votes to win.
Remember polls are open in North Carolina from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Be sure to dress warm, record number of voters are expected and you could be waiting outside for a while. The high today in the Triangle is around 50 degrees with lots of clouds.
Where do I vote?
If you can’t remember your voting site or the address you can look it up online.Ā Your voting site willĀ mostĀ likely be located right near your home since it is done by address.Ā Another great tool online is you can type in your address and find what district you belong to in North Carolina to see what candidates you have to choose from.
Still unsure what presidential candidate to vote for?
There certainly isn’t a lot of time to decide but there are some great online candidate match games you can take. These ask your stance on certain issues and the importance level of each to you. You might be surprised by the results! My favorite match game is offered by USA Today. It is certainly a fun activity to do right before you head to the polls. Great way to quick learn each candidates stand on the the issues. Happy voting!
